When the Summit Group called me to talk about Subway’s new locally owned ad campaign and their need for a Virginia based commercial photographer to capture the images, I was quite excited to say the least.
Besides the fact that I love Subway (I’ve got almost three hundred points on my Subway rewards card at the moment), the opportunity to work with a major player in the fast-food industry and the Summit group was a dream come true.
I agreed to capture the commercial and business photography for the Richmond, Roanoke and Tidewater Subway Sandwiches markets that they needed to include in their latest “locally owned” television campaign for those markets. I also captured images of many familiar Virginia landmarks for the campaign including Richmond’s monument avenue, the Virginia Capital Building, the Triton in Virginia beach, William and Mary, Virginia Tech and the Roanoke Star to name a few.
I put a ton of miles on my car but as a commercial and portrait photographer that’s pretty much par for the course.
The Summit group was a great company to work for and the Subway owners were really easy going and great to work with. I’m looking forward to seeing my photography on television. Thanks to everyone who helped make the photo shoots a success! And remember: EAT FRESH!!!
