Your wedding day is made up of moments you’ll want to remember—not only the ceremony and the celebrations, but the expressions, relationships, and unexpected moments that happen in between.

My approach to wedding photography is to tell the story of the day as it unfolds: the anticipation before the ceremony, the people who have come together to celebrate with you, the laughter and emotion, and the quiet moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. My goal is to create photographs that not only show what your wedding looked like, but help you remember what it felt like.

Getting to Know You

Every couple and every wedding is different, so my work begins by getting to know you.

During our initial consultation, we’ll talk about the plans for your wedding, the people and relationships that are especially important to you, and what you hope your photographs will capture. If you’re still in the early stages of planning, that’s perfectly fine. Our conversation can often help clarify what matters most to you and how photography can fit naturally into the day.

By the time your wedding arrives, I want to understand enough about you and your plans that I can concentrate on what’s happening rather than simply working through a predetermined list of photographs.

Photography That Fits Your Wedding

As an independent photographer, I can be flexible about how I photograph your wedding and the coverage you need. Rather than trying to fit every couple into the same package, we can put together photography that makes sense for your particular wedding.

Coverage can include engagement and bridal portraits, wedding-day photography, professionally retouched digital images, prints, and custom wedding albums. We’ll discuss the possibilities and create an approach based on what is important to you.

Above all, I want the photographs from your wedding to become more valuable to you as the years pass—a lasting record not only of an important day, but of the people, relationships, and emotions that made it yours.
